Phil from team Thunderbolt + Lightfoot got away to a good start. Following behind him in 2nd, just 0.54 of a second behind is Tony from team Terrible Twos.

Team Total Chaos came in after 1 lap to change drivers.

Team Terrible Twos have never been this high up before, normally they are right at the bottom in last! But at the minute he is still holding out there in 2nd. Keep up the good work.

4 minutes have passed. The faster teams are now catching up and making their way past team Terrible Twos. They have now been dropped to 4th as Mushrooms have gained 2nd place and Boomerang have taken over 3rd place.

Fastest lap so far is done by Jed from team Total Chaos with a 45.06 done on lap 7.

10 minutes have gone and the leaderboard currently looks like this:
In 1st is Thunderbolt + Lightfoot, 2nd is Mushrooms, 3rd is Boomerang, 4th is Terrible Twos, 5th is Total Chaos, 6th is Old Boys and in 7th is Saga Tours.

At this early stage they are all within a couple of seconds behind each other so its very close.

Now with 15 minutes gone, Terrible Twos are now in 5th, but as the other teams overtake them they are trying to follow their lines, which is good in a way.

Mushrooms Nick has the new fastest lap of 44.36 done on lap 55. He is the only one to lapping in the 44 seconds as of yet.

Its nearing the end of the race and team Terrible Twos are back in their trademark place, last. But it was good while it lasted.
