| Sunday 3rd September 2006 1HR THUNDER LEAGUE Pole for the A League - Tyco Pole for the B League - Odds + Sods - who failed to turn up! 9 teams competing this morning. There would have been 10 but team Odds + Sods failed to turn up. They are racing a twisty track, which in parts is dry and in others is damp and slippery. An interesting combination. Tyco's Lloyd takes the lead. Rookies came in to the pits after 3 minutes for an early pit change. And then a lap later they came in and changed drivers again. This could prove to benefit them in the end. T.O.K.A's Big Dave took the corner too wide and too fast and got the side of his kart stuck on the tyres. This tiny error dropped him from 3rd to 8th place. 6 minutes have gone, Rapscallions Nick takes the lead as Lloyd from team Tyco doesn't even bother to try and keep the lead. He just basically lets Nick by. Rapscallions have the fastest lap of 45.04 done on lap 38. Phil from team C.B.Posties and Big Dave from team T.O.K.A have both taken a couple of stumbles whilst getting out of the kart. They don't jump out; instead they roll out which probably hurts a bit! 5 minutes left. Rapscallions are still maintaining the lead. Two B League teams are in 2nd and 3rd places. Whacky Racers are in 2nd and Kolumbian Karthel are in 3rd. They have both driven well this morning. Results A League |
