We are starting off this morning with our usual ten minutes practice. During this time,

Boomerang was the fastest team out there and they got the fastest practice lap of 46.63.
The race eventually started at 10am. Terrible Twos moved smoothly off of their pole position start place.

Jed from team Total Chaos went up the inside and partly up on the grass and kerb to get himself up in to 4th place. But getting up to 4th place was a waste of time because Jed came in on lap 1 to do an early driver change.

On lap 2, Tom from Thomas Cook came in for an early pit stop. He is racing solo today, as are a few of the others! All the team mates seem to be dropping out like flies.

Also on lap 2, Total Chaos did another driver change which put Jed back out there. He has to do the first half hour as he has to get back home for his little boy's birthday party.

Darren from Anglo-Italian Racing is also racing solo this morning. I don't know maybe his team mate has a hangover?

On lap 12, Tom got the fastest lap of 45.36.

Someone keeps going off on to the dirt and making lots of mess on the track and also sending big dust clouds up in to the sky.

A little while later on lap 30, Tom gets another new fastest lap of 45.30. As you can see he has only just beat his first one.

Now 35 minutes of the race have passed. Nothing much is happening at the moment, nothing to write home about anyway!

Anyway Tom from Thomas Cook is still leading. He looks set to stay there as he only has one more driver change to do whereas the other teams still have two driver changes to do.
Boomerang are in 2nd place, 5.56 seconds behind 1st place. In 3rd place are Total Chaos, 11.66 seconds behind 2nd place.

The top 3 teams are the only ones to be lapping in the 45 seconds.

Just before the end of the race, Sean from Total Chaos hit in to the tyres on one of the corners, whacked his knee and broke the track rod on the kart. So he had to limp to the pits and get in a new kart to finish the race in.

So Tom takes the chequered flag with a 20.43 second lead over 2nd place team Boomerang.
