Solo man Jeremy Clarke from team Total Chaos got away to a smooth and quick start. He is racing on his own again this morning as his team mate Sean Sands is elsewhere.
3 minutes in to the race and Jeremy must be feeling gutted because he was in first but now the race is about to be re started.

So off we go again, Jeremy again takes the lead. Stand in driver Daniel from team Boomerang is up to 2nd. Duncan from team Saga Tours is driving his best ever and is behind Daniel in 3rd. Jeremy has pulled away a fairly big lead, making it hard for Daniel to catch him.

Mushrooms Clive comes in for an early driver change, but in fact it is about the right time if the race hadn't been re started. Clive says he is knackered after that 10-minute stint!

Duncan from Saga Tours takes the lead. He is flying. He must have had his weetabix for breakfast this morning! When Duncan takes the lead, Daniel also follows him through in to 2nd place, pushing Jeremy down to 3rd. He won't like that!

Duncan currently has a 2.06 seconds lead over 2nd place Daniel from team Boomerang. It is still close. So Duncan needs to watch what he is doing and not make a mistake. But sometimes if you are trying to hard you are prone to make mistakes.

Total Chaos's Jeremy has moved up to 1st again but he hasn't done a pit stop yet. Even though he is racing on his own he still needs to do pit stops and be held the same time as it takes others to pit. And at the end of the race he needs all 5 balls in the pail at the end of the pit lane.

Boomerangs Merv just overtook Mushrooms Clive for 3rd place.

Team Tyco did not turn up to race this morning. Why they didn't come we don't know.

Fastest lap by Mushrooms Nick Rodgers with a 44.51 on lap 10.

The teams lap times are mainly in the 44, 45 and 46 seconds. Mushrooms and Saga Tours are currently the only two teams to be lapping in the high 44 seconds.

Some of the older people who are racing today are finding it hard because it is hot today and the track is set up as a twisty configuration.

Jeremy has finally decided to do his pit stops with only 14 minutes till the end of the race. He has 5 to do and knowing him he will probably come in each lap until he has done them all.
