Rookies' driver David got away to a fast start from his starting position of pole on the grid. But he must of felt the pressure of keeping in front of everyone because on the bottom straight he spun it and lost the lead. This silly manoeuvre put him right at the back. Whether he was pushed round which caused him to spin i do not know as it happened very quickly.

Stand-in driver Daniel from team Tyco started off in 3rd place. He easily got by Nick from Rapscallions who started in 2nd on the first lap. So when David spun he shot up in to the lead. However Nick was closely following him. Let's hope he can hold the lead because his team mate Lloyd will be pleased.

Darren from team C.B.Posties took Clive from team Mushrooms out going round one of the corners. It didn't do either of them any good though because they both got stuck in the tyre wall. Then David from Rookies came round that corner and followed them in. So they all had to wait to be pulled out, losing them lots of time.

Daniel and Nick are still having a tight and good battle for the top 2 positions. At the minute Daniel is still leading. It will depend on how they decide to do their pit stops. Earlier, later or on time.

Little Chris from team Whacky Racers spins round as he is trying to get in the pit lane. He was probably going too fast around that corner and misjudged the pit lane entry.

Odds + Sods Matty hit one of the many bunches of tyres leading on to the straight and this resulted in him losing one of the wheels. So a spare kart is brought round to him.

Fastest lap by Rapscallions with a 41.69 on lap 65.

Only one minute to go. Rapscallions are leading with team T.O.K.A just 9.67 seconds behind them in 2nd place. Maybe if there had of been 5 minutes left they might have taken the lead from team Rapscallions.

Earlier on in the race, Lloyd from team Tyco put DnD Racing's Kevin in the tyres for no reason at all. That is just his way of getting by people sometimes, which isn't on! So when they changed drivers, Daniel had to come back in to the pits two laps after he had gone out and do a 30-second drive through penalty. This is probably what lost them the lead.
