| Sunday 21st January 2007 1HR THUNDER LEAGUE This morning the teams are split in to A + B Leagues. A League Pole - Boomerang 2nd - Saga Tours 3rd - Total Chaos B League They all shot off, trying their best to get up some positions while everybody is all bunched together. It is easier to gain places right at the start of the race. Stu from team Boomerang got off in to the lead from his pole position starting place. Jed from team Total Chaos is right behind him in 2nd, 0.20 of a second behind 1st place. Tom from team Thomas Cook is up to 3rd from starting back in 5th. As he is trying harder to get to 2nd he gets a fastest lap of 45.08 done on lap 4. Saga Tours Duncan is right down in 5th place from starting high up in 2nd. I'm not sure how he got that far down so quickly, because he is light and normally quick! Bluff + Blunders forgot to take a ball with him and he is now standing in the pit lane shouting at his kids and his team mate to get him a ball! 2nd place team Boomerang and 3rd place team Thomas Cook got tangled up with a backmarker, team Odds + Sods. Odds + Sods are driving as if they have never driven before in their lives! After the first driver changes, after roughly ten minutes, Total Chaos are still in 1st. Thomas Cook are now up to 2nd, dropping Boomerang down to 3rd. Newish team, Dastardly + Mutley just got a warning board. 16 minutes have gone. Boomerang got back up to 2nd, dropping Thomas Cook to 3rd. 21 minutes have now gone by. The top 2 positions are still the same. But team Bertie Boys are now up in to 3rd. Former 3rd place team Thomas Cook are now down to 4th. 4 minutes later, Boomerang are down to 4th. Also Thomas Cook have taken over and are now in 2nd place. In the B League section, down in the second half of the table, team Terrible Twos are holding up in 1st place. Bluff + Blunders are in 2nd, 39.62 seconds behind 1st. Only 12 minutes of the race left. The teams are all close together on the track now. Some positions might change again. Tom has had the fastest lap for all of the race, but on lap 77, team Boomerang beat it with a 44.86. 1st and 2nd places finished 0.59 of a second between them. Results A League B League |
