| Sunday 7th January 2007 1HR THUNDER LEAGUE Pole - Whacky Racers Rookies David is up to 1st, from starting in 3rd place. T.O.K.A are up to 2nd, after doing just 3 laps and from starting way back in 5th place. On lap 3, Rookies got a fastest lap of 56.29. The top 3 are all close together. Rookies are still holding the lead. Tyco are in 2nd, 0.42 of a second behind 1st and T.O.K.A are in 3rd, 0.58 of a second behind 2nd place. After the first ten-minute stint I saw Lloyd from Tyco and Big Dave from T.O.K.A shake hands. This was because they were having good battles, and overtaking each other often, and doing it cleanly. No nudging and barging was happening which is great. Well done you two! The track is a bit damp and slippery but it will probably dry out in the next 10-15 minutes.Hopefully it won't rain, though I know some of this morning's drivers do want it to rain! 15 minutes have passed. Rookies are still in 1st, T.O.K.A have moved up to 2nd, 8.68 seconds behind 1st. Tyco are down to 3rd, 0.52 of a second behind 2nd. New team, team Not Bothered! are doing much better this month. Last month they were given some pointers on where and what they were doing wrong and it seems to have helped them this month, so keep up the good work boys! Kolumbian Karthel got a new fastest lap with a 56.05 done on lap 18. 21 minutes have now gone by and Kolumbian Karthel are up to 3rd. Tyco have moved down to 4th, 2.21 seconds behind 3rd. 7 minutes later, at 28 minutes, C.B.Posties are in 6th place, up two places from starting in 8th. T.O.K.A's Little Dave got a new fastest lap of 55.80 done on lap 31. 40 minutes have gone by, DnD Racing are in 5th, up two places from originally starting in 7th place. They are doing much better than last month where they failed miserably. In 7th place we have Whacky Racers. They did start on pole at the beginning of the race but are now down the bottom end. Still, they are slowly working their way back up the field. 43 minutes have gone. Whacky Racers are up one place to 6th, dropping C.B.Posties to 7th. In the last ten minutes of the race, Lloyd from Tyco made about three mistakes as he was going around and these three mistakes cost him third place. So this promoted Kolumbian Karthel up to 3rd.
