This morning we have 10 teams racing altogether.

They are split in to A + B leagues again.

Team Berti Boys have not turned up this morning so Nick and Pete Rodgers are going to be standing in for them.

However they will not be scoring points for Berti Boys. As they are just racing for fun!
This race got under way just after 10am.

Nick shot off to a flying start. He did have an advantage though as he started off in pole, with no traffic in the way.

Jed from team Total Chaos is quite a way behind Nick, 6.39 seconds behind to be precise!
The race has only been running for 4 minutes but already the teams are battling hard to get as high up the leaderboard as they can in the early stages of the race.

Nick got the fastest lap of 45.46 done on lap 6. Early on! He is the only one to currently be lapping in the 45 seconds. The rest of the teams are in the 46, 47 and 48 seconds.

Now 8 minutes have gone. Team Terrible Twos came in to the pits to swap their kart. I think theirs was a bit off, unless it was the driver? 9 minutes later they are up to 7th place overall and 2nd place in the B league.

Now 25 minutes have gone. Berti Boys are still leading. Total Chaos are in 2nd, 41.55 seconds behind. Thomas Cook are in 3rd, only 2.59 seconds behind. So it is fairly close between 2nd and 3rd places.

Dastardly + Mutley are currently leading the B league. They have team Terrible Twos behind them in 2nd, 32 seconds behind.

Bluff + Blunders are down in 10th place overall and 5th place in the B league. But today they have acquired a new stand-in driver, a friend I think because one of them is away on business. So at the moment he is just getting used to the karts and the track. He is doing well so far. Keep going.

34 minutes have now gone by. Total Chaos's Sean and Thomas Cook's Charlie are fighting each other for 2nd + 3rd places. There is only 0.52 of a second between them. So close! One mistake from either of them and it could prove to be fatal.

But 3 minutes later, Charlie has dropped right back ad is now 8.93 seconds behind Sean.
It turns out that one of the drivers from team Odds + Sods took him out, not intentionally though.

On lap 37, Berti Boys Nick got a new fastest lap of 45.29.

17 minutes of the race remaining.

The positions remain the same as before.

Terrible Twos have managed to break down in to the 47 seconds. Yay!

In the end Total Chaos come first. But it was very close between them and 2nd place team Thomas Cook, who were only 1.87 seconds behind.
