Tom from Thomas Cook was the fastest guy out there. He got the fastest practice laptime of 45.48. Big John who races Prokarts placed a bet with stand-in driver Daniel Powley of Total Chaos. The bet was that Daniel couldn't get up in to 1st place from starting in 4th place by the time he gets to the first hairpin on the new bit of track. So let's see if he can do it. Well let me just tell you that Big John is £5 out of pocket, because Daniel was up in to 1st place by the time he got to the hairpin, still on the old bit of track, so he won the bet by a mile! Little + Large are holding 2nd place. They are 1.29 seconds behind. On lap 3, Boomerang's Stu got knocked off by someone and put in to the tyres, going down the straight. Now 5 minutes have passed. Little + Large and Terrible Twos have both just done an early pit stop. These two teams and 2 more, Anglo-Italian Racing and Shake N Bake are competing in their own mini league. As this is the last race of the Summer series it is vital that they all try their best. On lap 10, Tom from Thomas Cook got the fastest lap of 44.97. Now 11 minutes have gone. Total Chaos are still 1st. Thomas Cook are 2nd, 10.74 seconds behind. Boomerang are 3rd, 8.76 seconds behind. 8 minutes later, at the 19 minute mark, Shake N Bake are in 4th place and doing very well. That must be the highest position that they have ever ranked! On lap 38, Charlie from Thomas Cook got the new fastest lap of 44.93. Anglo-Italian Racing's new guy has just had a spin, coming out of the hairpin. There is about 25 minutes to go. Little + Large have just pulled up on the grass with a problem. I later found out that their throttle spring flew off or something so they have now been given a new kart. 41 minutes have passed. Total Chaos are still in 1st. Thomas Cook are in 2nd, 5.09 seconds behind. On lap 63, Dan got a new fastest lap of 44.88. Results 1. Thomas Cook 2. Total Chaos 3. Boomerang 4. Shake N Bake 5.
