We have 11 teams competing in tonight's race. Andy got away to a swift start. He can drive well and fast if he puts his mind to it.
He has Road Runner's Steve Aldridge just 0.57 behind him. One little mistake and he could
lose it. Team A.K.C chose to put their lightest team member out first - this being Phil Batt. And within 8 laps he is in last place because he is parked up in the tyres waiting for a cup of coffee to warm his hands up. Charlie Haller got the first fastest lap with a 36.09 on lap 15. Every time T.S.R come in to the pits to change drivers one of they're engines stopped. It probably doesn't like working in the cold. Much like us humans don't! 35 minutes have gone and Chris + Crew are in the pits. I heard on the grapevine that they have bent another stub axle. God knows how many that will have been now! They are not doing very well tonight and that is because their team manager Chris isn't here to support them, as he has to work. When they got that fixed they decided to do their fuel stop. Daniel from team Sean + Dan has the new fastest lap of 35.87 on lap 62. He is on fire! After 50 minutes, new team Andy + Neil are in 4th place. This is their first endurance race and I'm pretty sure it won't be their last! Now an hour has passed and there is one hour to go. Sean + Dan are leading the field, with Charlie + Colin in 2nd. Andy + Neil have moved up to 3rd. A.K.C have got themselves up to 5th from last. Only 25 minutes to go. Karlos from A.K.C forgot to take a ball with him when they changed drivers so that will probably lose them some time and maybe even a position as they will have an extra stop to do than the others.
