Tonight we have 10 kids racing. About 5 minutes before their race started it started to rain. Lightly at first but then before we knew it, it was raining very hard! People said it was only going to be a quick shower but last time someone said that it rained all night. So many of them opted to put wet tyres on. Wise choice!

Nick Manias got away to a fast start. He managed to hold the lead for one lap before Smiffy overtook him on lap 2. Then hot shot Daniel Powley shot up in to the lead after starting at the back of the field.

Matt Spragg is thrashing the throttle to control his kart from spinning around. But actually they are all doing it in an attempt to stay facing the right way!

Jake Futter is finding it really hard to stay on the track. He can't even control his spins. He is just too little. He needs some extra weight on his front end. But he can't have any more because he already has his maximum weight on the kart.

The outside of the track is proving to hold the best grip in the wet.

Ashley Hornigold has amazed his dad, Fred, by proving to be a great driver in the wet. He is currently up to 4th and there is 12 minutes to go. Can he make it up to 3rd? We hope so.
Only 7 minutes left. It has stopped raining. The track now has a dry line appearing.

Sean Haller has the fastest lap of 46.74 on lap 28. He is the only one to be currently lapping in the 46 seconds.

Smiffy is in 3rd and Ashley is still in 4th. They are both trying their hardest to keep them positions. But Ashley is fighting Smiffy to get to 4th place. But Smiffy is keeping him behind. It's all fair! Ashley is just 0.99 of a seconds behind Smiffy.

Daniel Powley and Sean Haller are now lapping in the 45 seconds. Sean got the fastest lap of 45.22 on the last lap, lap 37.

Daniel Powley took the chequered flag, 7.97 seconds ahead of 2nd place, Sean Haller.

The starting positions for this race are in a reversed grid from race one, which took place earlier this evening.

Jake Futter got away to a flying start. He is very happy that it has stopped raining. Jake has Nick Manias behind him at the moment. Lets hope that Jake doesn't lose his concentration and stays in front.

10 minutes have gone; Sean has taken the lead from Jake. Jake has dropped down to 4th.
Lee and Smiffy had a coming together on the corner leading on to the straight of the new circuit. From what i saw it looked like Lee tried to go up the inside of Smiffy when there wasn't a gap there to get through. But maybe I'm wrong?! Anyway they were both stuck together for quite a while. They were probably both very annoyed too.

The kids are not driving carefully out there tonight. They are all going hell for leather and like there's no tomorrow! Calm down lads!

Matt Spragg just stacked his kart coming out of the corner, nearly opposite the pits.
Daniel Bowman is in the pits. He has a dodgy engine. He doesn't look too happy!

8 minutes to go, Jake is in the grass with only 3 wheels on his wagon (kart)! Apparently it came loose and just dropped off. That must have scared him. He can't even fix it because it is right at the bottom of the track.

Only 4 minutes left. Sean is leading. Dan Powley is behind him, 0.13 of a second behind.

Nick Manias is in 3rd, 2.71 seconds behind Dan.

New fastest lap by Daniel Powley with a 38.70 on lap 26.

Daniel and Sean are the only two in the 38 seconds.
