Round 3

After 15 minutes qualifying our final number of teams competing were 10. Charlie Boys' Chris Woods qualified on pole with the fastest lap of 26.94. He got off to an absolutely flying start!

But Sean Haller from team Sean/Dan is now only 3.90 seconds behind him. So he is slowly catching up and could be a potential to steal the lead from Chris.

6 minutes in to the race and A.K.C's Colin is in the pits. Currently doing something to his tyres. I later learned that he had been moving his wheels in a bit, so as to make it handle better.

20 minutes have now passed and Team T.S.R are in the pits doing a driver change. And at the same time they have a quick tyre pressure check. 5 minutes later and they are in the pits again! This time with engine trouble.

Team A.K.C have a new recruit for their team - Karolis Rackys. This is his first time of driving a prokart and he is currently doing great! (He now wants his own prokart to race!)

Half an hour in to the race and Sean/Dan have a 7.33 second lead over Charlie Boy.
An hour later, Boys Toys take the lead.

Sean/Dan came in for some fuel but at the same time they found a slight problem. Their throttle link had broke. However they are always prepared with a second kart, so they sped off in it!

New fastest lap by Charlie Boy, with a 26.80.

Team 1664 are out of the race after an hour and 44 minutes. The clutch teeth on the left hand engine had all sheared off.

A.K.C have now moved up to 6th place.

1 hour left, and Team T.S.R are out of the race and in the pits with an oil leakage.

33 minutes to go and Parkwalk Racing's' David Abrahams has conked out on the track, right near the pits. His chain came off as well as other problems!

15 minutes to go, and A.K.C have moved up to 5th place.

2 minutes left and Charlie Boy are first with a 27.60 second lead over Boys Toys.
