Anyway the 2hr race started at about 6.50pm.

Ben Lambert from team Big John + Ben got off to a fast start.

On the first lap Team Dragon dropped from 3rd place down to 6th place.

Dan from team Dan + Sean is holding his 2nd place starting position. He is 0.16 of a second behind Ben and he is literally riding on his bumper.

On lap 3, Sam Smith from Boys Toys got the fastest lap of 42.43.

Dan has some flashing lights on his wheels so you can easily spot him going around the track now it's dark. A new trend has started whatever next!

Sam is now up to 3rd place. Misfits Dave has come up from 6th in to 4th.

The top 3 teams are within 0. of a second between each other.

5 minutes have gone. Dan is in 1st place. Ben has dropped down to 2nd, 0.27 of a second behind Dan. In 3rd is Sam, 0.14 of a second behind. Misfits Dave is still in 4th and he is closing in on Sam on every lap. He is now 0.15 of a second behind him.

On lap 7, Dave got the new fastest lap of 42.13.

7 minutes have passed. Dan is now starting to pull away from 2nd place. He is now 1.10 seconds ahead.

On lap 10, Sam got up in to 2nd place. Dave is up one more place in to 3rd. Ben has dropped down to 4th. He must have lost his momentum!

10 minutes have gone. Dan now has a 2.16 second lead over Dave from Misfits who is now in 2nd place. Sam is now down to 3rd. Whereas Ben is still holding 4th place, 3.15 seconds behind.

Asbos are in 5th place, down one place as they originally started the race in 4th place.

Rookies are in 6th, up one place from starting 7th. Team Dragon is bringing up the rear in 7th place. The bottom 3 is all miles away from each other.

20 minutes have now passed. Misfits are leading. Sean is 2nd, 1.77 seconds behind, and closing in on Rob from Misfits on each lap. Boys Toys are still 3rd. 4th place is Big John, 3.01 seconds behind.

5 minutes later and Sean is literally riding on Rob's back bumper it is that close between the top 2. Docky from Boys Toys is keeping up in 3rd, 0.24 of a second behind.

The other positions currently remain the same as earlier.

On lap 35, Docky gets past Sean for 2nd place. This leaves Sean down in 3rd place, 0.19 of a second behind.

28 minutes have now gone.

In 6th place are Rookies who are 0.30 of a second behind Asbos, they are the only ones close together at the minute.

2 minutes later and Rookies have got up to 5th place. Asbos are now down in 6th place.
Misfits Dave has just dropped his pit ball so he is going to have to come in on the next lap and put it in properly. He has now dropped down to 3rd place.

33 minutes have now passed. Dan is back in the lead. Boys Toys are down to 2nd.
7 minutes later at the 40 minute mark and Asbos just had an off down the bottom end of the track!

The top 4 teams are lapping in the 42 seconds and the bottom 3 are in the 43 and 44 seconds.

Now at the 46 minute mark and Dan + Sean are still in 1st. Misfits are in 2nd, 2.14 seconds behind. In 3rd are Boys Toys, 15.47 seconds behind. None of the 7 teams are close together. They are miles apart!

Sean and Big John are stuck behind 7th place Team Dragon.

52 minutes have gone. Dan + Sean are still leading. Misfits are down in 2nd, 9.13 seconds behind. Boys Toys are 3rd, 4.12 seconds behind. Big John + Ben are 4th, 1 lap and so many seconds behind. 5th place is Asbos. 6th is Rookies. 7th is Team Dragon.

So far in this race no body has had any breakdowns or anything like that which is great news!

4 minutes later and Team Dragon have just done their fuel stop and they are now having a quick tyre pressure check.

Finally 1hr has passed and there is 1hr left to go. Good news for some it is now starting to rain. The rain is gradually starting to get heavier.

1hr and 8 minutes gone, Team Dragon are back in the pits. But it can't have been anything major because they rejoined the race again not long afterwards.

1hr and 20 minutes and the rain has just about stopped. There wasn't much rain but it was enough to make the teams think 'should we put wets on?'.

Anyway Misfits have taken the lead. Dan + Sean are back down to 2nd, 14.85 seconds behind. Boys Toys are 3rd, 27.70 seconds behind. 4th are Big John + Ben. 5th are Rookies. 6th are Asbos. 7th are Team Dragon who are a massive 9 laps behind 6th place. And again all the teams are miles apart I think it might have been the rain that done that.

Now 1hr and 25 minutes have gone. It is raining again well actually it is hammering it down! The lap times are now in the 59 seconds and the 1 minutes. It is funny to watch, they are slipping and sliding everywhere and some of them are finding it hard to stay on the track. Most of the drivers are using the kerbs to save them from going wheel spinning off on to the dirt and grass.

There are now 15 minutes of the race to go. Misfits have retired because of the rain.
10 minutes to go now, Dan is leading again after Misfits dropped out. But suddenly he monkeys it up and stacks in to the tyres going down the straight. This has lost him 1st place.

Anyway Boys Toys obviously took the lead after Dan stacked it. Dan + Sean are now in 2nd, a long 41.44 seconds behind. They are going to have to use rocket power and keep it on the track if they want to get back in first, can they do it? Big John + Ben are up to 3rd, 2 laps and so many seconds behind.

It is the end of the race; Boys Toys take the chequered flag with a 50.45 second lead.

This is the first race in this summer series that Dan + Sean haven't won. They must be feeling gutted!
