Tonight we have 15 adults competing in the adult's race one.

Karlos got off to a fast start. He is currently leading the pack.

Docky, Dave Marshall, Charlie Haller and Steve Aldridge all had a coming together on the first lap, down the bottom end of the track. I didn't actually see what happened though. Anyway this incident lost all four of them a lot of time. They are now miles away from the others in front of them.

Charlie Cook is holding 2nd place.

Chris Woods has come up from 5th in to 3rd on the 3rd lap.

1 lap later, on lap 4, Chris Woods took the lead, dropping Karlos down to 2nd place.

4 minutes of the race have passed.

Docky is in last place. He has a slight problem by the looks of it as he is going around as slow as a snail! It turns out that one of his wheel hubs had moved inwards which in turn had knocked the chain off. So he is now out in the square fixing it.

Chris Woods has a 3.24 second lead over now 2nd place driver Steve Aldridge.

7 and a half minutes have passed.

Karlos lets Charlie Haller past him for 3rd place.

At the 9 minute mark, Steve Aldridge is right up 1st place Chris Woods butt!

On lap 12, Steve Aldridge got the fastest lap of 42.02.

11 minutes have passed. Steve Aldridge is now up to 1st place. Chris Woods is now down to 2nd place. Charlie Haller is still holding 3rd place.

Simon Craig is up to 4th, having just overtaken Karlos. Karlos is now down to 5th place. Charlie Cook is in 6th place.

4 minutes later at the 15 minute mark and Simon Craig has just overtaken Charlie Haller for 3rd place.

Docky rejoined the race after 16 minutes had gone by.

Now 18 minutes have gone by. Chris Woods has dropped down to 4th place.

Charlie Haller has just now got back past Simon Craig for 2nd place.

Hold on its all changed again! Chris Woods is now back up there in 3rd place.

Dave Marshall is up to 4th. Simon Craig is now down to 5th. Karlos is now in 6th place.
22 minutes have gone by. Asbos Andy just overcooked it going down the straight and around the bottom bend and is now backwards in the tyres!

5 minutes later. 11th and 12th places, Fred and Colin are trying their hardest to get by each other. At the minute, Fred is ahead and Colin is trying his hardest to get by him.

There is now 16 minutes of the race left.

Steve Aldridge has a 20.23 second lead over 2nd place Dave Marshall.

Pete Rodgers has worked his way up to 6th place from starting back in 8th.

Steven Knowles is in 7th place.

Karlos is now all the way down in 8th. He originally started on pole at the beginning of the race.

Charlie Cook is down in 9th place.

Asbos is now down in 10th place after his incident, which involved the tyres earlier on.
Colin is up one place in to 11th after having finally got past Fred whose now in 12th place.
Richard Clouting is in 13th place - unlucky for some! He has dropped a long way down as he started off the race in 6th place.

Only 10 minutes of the race to go.

Asbos Andy is creeping back up the field. He is now resting in 8th place. This has dropped Karlos down to 9th but Karlos is right behind Andy. There is 0.26 of a second between them.

Big John is in 14th place, which is where he has been for most of the race. He is still going well. There are no breakdowns or crashes to report on for this guy. His driving is consistent which is great!

Only 4 minutes of the race to go and there has been a pile up! Pete Rodgers, Karlos and Charlie Cook are all in the tyre wall. I can't believe it! They were all doing so well too.
Anyway what happened was … Pete crashed in to the tyres on the lap before which put lots of water out on the track. Karlos and Charlie Cook came flat out around that corner, not knowing that the water was there and that was it for them! Karlos went sideways in to the tyre wall and Charlie followed him in. Luckily they both escaped unhurt and the karts were fine too! They would probably have still been racing if the marshall had gone and swept the water off but for some unknown reason he didn't bother to!

Only 2 minutes to go, Charlie Cook decided to go out for the last couple of minutes to get a few more points.

12 adults entered this second race.

We have a treat in store for them tonight as they are going to be racing this second race going backwards around the track!

The 3 who didn't enter this race must be feeling well and truly gutted!

Anyway Karlos got off to a good start again in this 2nd race.

Already Steven Knowles is up to 2nd place.

Big John has dropped down to 3rd place but he is intent on keeping in 3rd place for now.
4 minutes of the race have passed.

Karlos is still leading and he has a 3.03 second lead over 2nd place Dave Marshall.

On lap 3 Dave Marshall got the fastest lap of 44.10.

Now 10 minutes have passed. Dave Marshall got by Karlos and has now been leading the race for about 5 minutes.

15 minutes have whizzed by. Steve Aldridge has wormed his way up in to 2nd place. He is 3.35 seconds behind 1st place.

Karlos is now down in 3rd place, holding it well. He is currently 3.92 seconds behind 2nd.

Simon Craig is in 4th place, 0.93 of a second behind 3rd place.

17 minutes have now gone by. Simon has made it up in to 3rd place, dropping Karlos down to 4th, 0.30 of a second behind Simon.

1 minute later and Karlos spun going around the top corner. Charlie Haller got by him for 4th place. So Karlos is now down in 5th place.

Dave Marshall and Steve Aldridge are having their own little battle at the front end. There is 0.of a second between the two.

23 minutes have now passed us by. Keith Woods and his kart are sitting out on the grass on the top corner. He came round the top corner full pelt and hit in to the tyre wall. So I would have thought that the steering on his kart is a bit knackered now!

Colin just came round the corner, went over the top of the kerb slightly and sent sparks flying!

On lap 22, Steve Aldridge got the fastest lap of 42.65.

Now only 10 minutes to go. Charlie Haller has retired from the race because his back is giving him some gyp!
