During that qualifying time, team A.K.C and team Charlie + Colin only done two laps each, which is not enough to qualify so therefore they have been disqualified and put to the back of the grid.

Sean from team Sean + Dan got off to a good, fast start.

On lap 1, AKC and Charlie + Colin come in to do their first pit stop (driver change).
They are doing the same as last month and racing 2hrs by themselves, but swapping karts so they get an hour in each of their karts.

They will be shattered by the end of it. They could hardly walk last month and that was after they had to be manhandled out of their karts by their non-sympathetic wives!

Kart no 5, which is the Charlie + Colin's team kart will be the only one of their karts scoring points tonight. As tonight is the last round of the winter 2hr ProKart championship.

Team Bad Lads have gained a new driver tonight, a Mr Ben Lambert who used to be a ProKart racer ages ago, so he had to come here extra early tonight to get lots of practice in! Anyway he got off to a good start from his 2nd place grid position. He is currently 1.41 seconds behind Sean who is still in 1st place.

On lap 7, Ben from Bad Lads has pulled in to the pits. He has a problem, something to do with one engine not running properly. At the minute it sounds like that engine is running out of petrol, but it isn't! Let's hope they can get it fixed quickly.

AKC and Charlie + Colin have done 6 of their 7 pit stops in the first ten minutes of the race. Now as they only have one pit ball left that will be used for a fuel stop, sometime later in the race.

New team TT Sport are going well. They are currently in 4th, having had no kart problems as of yet. Earlier, during qualifying they had a few minor problems, with chains slipping off or something like that.

Bad Lads are still in the pits. 15 minutes of the race have passed and they are now resting in last place.

Saga Tours are up in to 2nd from starting in 4th at the beginning of the race. They are 13.70 seconds behind 1st place.

The Cookie Crew's Ben Cook is still holding 3rd place, which is where he started off in about 18 minutes a go! Keep it there Ben!

20 minutes of the race have passed; Bad Lads have just rejoined the race. They need a miracle to happen to catch up with 6th place! The problem turned out to be a Jet Block, which is also known as muck in the carburettor!

7 minutes later and there is more problems in the pit lane.
Colin who is currently in Charlie's kart, which is the one scoring the points, has a problem. His throttle spring had come off which was making his throttle stick at the flat out stage. After he had fixed his little problem he did his fuel stop which used up his last pit ball/pit stop.

Sean got the fastest lap with a 39.43 done on lap 7.

40 minutes have now passed. Bad Lads are still in 7th place. 16 laps behind 6th place, Charlie + Colin and 21 laps down on the leaders, Sean + Dan. Put your foot down Lads!
The team that are not scoring the points, AKC are currently doing well up in 4th place. I think in the last race, AKC finished higher up than Charlie + Colin did. The same looks to be happening in this race too.

10 minute later at the 50 minute mark, Charlie Haller for team AKC is in the pits doing his fuel stop and using his last pit ball/pit stop.

On lap 76, Daniel from team Sean + Dan got the new fastest lap of 39.38.

54 minutes have passed. TT Sport are down to 6th place. Charlie + Colin are up to 5th place.

The top 3 positions haven't changed at all. They haven't even swapped positions amongst themselves as they all have a good lead over each other. Sean + Dan are 2 laps ahead of 2nd place team Saga Tours.

1hr and 10 minutes have passed. Nothing much is happening out there on the track at the moment. The positions all remain the same.

All the teams bar 2 of them are in the 39 seconds. The other 2 are in the 40 seconds, but getting quicker.

1hr and 19 minutes have gone; team AKC are up to 2nd.

Now only 23 minutes to go. Saga Tours and TT Sport are getting faster now the end of the race is nearing.

I'm amazed that Saga Tours kart has lasted a whole race.

2 minutes to go, Sean + Dan are still in 1st, AKC are in 2nd, 2 laps down and Charlie + Colin are in 3rd, 40.87 seconds behind 2nd.
