Adults 45 minute solo ProKart Race

Race 1

A total of 10 drivers started tonight's first adult's race. They all got off to a clean start. It makes a change because normally they are a bit argy bargy with each other.

After about 5 laps, Charlie and Colin are up to 2nd and 3rd places from starting off at the back of the grid. They are flying!

Newcomer Paul Nelson is in 9th place, just getting used to the track at the minute.

On lap 13 we had fight for 1st place between Steve Futter, Charlie and Colin.

On the next lap, lap 14, Charlie is in 1st place, Colin has squeezed up to 2nd, right on Charlie's back bumper and Steve Futter has dropped down to 3rd.

You did some good driving there Steve so keep it up and you should be able to hold 3rd place down.

1st and 2nd place drivers are now getting miles away from the other drivers. It is so close between them top 2 drivers.

Soon after, Colin takes the lead, dropping Charlie to 2nd but Charlie is right behind. One mistake from Colin and he could lose it.

2 laps later, Charlie is back in the lead. It is another race of cat and mouse for these top 2 ProKart boys!

Charlie got the fastest lap of 32.53 done on lap 28. Colin is the second fastest overall with his fastest lap of 32.55 done much later on in the race on lap 75.

Only 3 other drivers are in the 32 seconds. The majority of the rest of them are in the 33 seconds, with a couple of slow ones in the 34 and 36 seconds.

Race 2

For this second race we had 11 drivers. They all got off to a good start.

4th place man Charlie Haller lost his back wheel on lap 7. His hub snapped off due to another kart impact on his kart.

On lap 16, Simon Craig went off with a hurt wrist. I don't know how he hurt it though!
Charlie has repaired his kart and rejoined the race on lap 24.

Keith Woods is in the lead with Colin in 2nd. Colin is closing in on Keith on every lap.
Newcomer Paul Nelson is in 8th place and going well.

Later on in the race, nearing the end, Charlie got up to 8th place as Paul Nelson retired early.
